Why clients call ESR
We are problem solvers.
Licensed, fast and reliable. Homeowner associations and property managers welcome.
- The owner runs the job. Udi is the Responsible Managing Officer on our state license and oversees every project in person.
- Engineering when it matters. The structural engineer on the ESR team reviews structural questions, so Repairs are designed, not guessed.
- Cause first, then cosmetics. We fix why the damage happened before we repair what it damaged.
- Built for HOAs. Written proposals for boards, resident notices, schedules and photo records.

A Few of Our Clients
Why choose ESR
Who actually holds the license on your job? Find out before you sign.
In California, every contracting company's license is backed by one person, the Responsible Managing Officer (RMO). By law, the RMO must directly supervise and control the company's construction work. At many companies the RMO is a hired name on paper, someone the owner pays to use their license, who may never set foot on your property. That means the person running your job may not be licensed at all. At ESR there is no gap: Udi Hen is the Founder & RMO.

- A borrowed license protects the contractor, not you. When the license holder is not the owner, nobody with a license may be watching your job when walls are open and mistakes get buried.
- The owner is accountable. At ESR, the person who runs the company is the person the state holds responsible for your job. His name and his license are on every project.
- No salespeople. Your estimate comes from the licensed contractor, not a commissioned sales rep paid to close the deal.
- No middlemen. You work directly with the license holder from the first walkthrough to the final inspection.
- Protect yourself: ask every contractor, "Who is your RMO, and will they be on my job?" Then look up the license at cslb.ca.gov. If the answer is vague, or the RMO is someone you will never meet, walk away. A price that looks too good to be true usually is.
